RC on Forgotten Shrines... shrug!
What exactly is a monk suppose to do on the Forgotten Shrines map? I have gone twice to that map and people ask me if I know what to do. Well I don't.
I read wiki and it seems that my job as rc/ls is to cap with the ghost. What exactly should I be doing and what is the job I am expected to do? |

Most teams send their RC/prot to cap the bottom with the ghost. A lot of teams also send their snare on the bottom to snare the opposing team's ghost. Really your job is to just continue capping their bottom and your bottom shrine and hope your team wipes them at the top. The opposing team usually sends their snare on you also, so you should veil your ghost so you can pull grasping/etc. Pretty basic, but that's the overview. Good luck!

run back and forth on the bottom two shrines. remove grasping with veil, make sure your basic motor skills are intact, and try not to fall asleep. scream loudly on vent if you're getting ganked.

He meant the shrines on which teams are getting resurrected
Also if you have some spare time - like your team is leading with many points -, then you can cap the enemy's middle point, too. |

This will work great. That is until you meet a team that decides to outplay the normal tactics. Most teams won't, simply because they decide to form meta crap with crap players, but be aware that it does happen.
Teams with ideas of 'advanced' tactics usually are smart enough to communicate those before the match. The idea of 'you know what to do?' has already been covered. Though be forewarned (and this applies to normal crap meta teams), the people that put blame on others are obviously not at fault, so you may very well be. |
